Terms and Conditions
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
1.1 Reservations can be made online through our website, via email, or by phone.
1.2 A valid credit card is required to secure all bookings.
1.3 Full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.4 By making a booking, guests agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
2.1 More than 30 days prior to arrival: Full refund.
2.2 8-30 days prior to arrival: 50% refund.
2.3 Less than 8 days prior to arrival: No refund.
2.4 The guesthouse owner is not liable for any delay or disruption caused by events beyond their control (e.g., weather, natural disasters).
3. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
3.1 Check-in: Check-in time is 2:00 PM to 7:00PM, or as otherwise specified in the confirmation.
3.2 Check-out: Check-out time is 10:00 AM, or as otherwise specified in the confirmation.
3.3 Late Check-in/Late Check-out: These may be arranged with the guesthouse owner, subject to availability and additional charges.
3.4 All outstanding charges must be settled prior to departure.
4. GUEST CONDUCT
4.1 Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
4.2 Respectful noise levels are expected at all times.
4.3 Excessive noise or disturbances may result in eviction without refund.
4.4 Mitta Glen Guesthouse is entirely non-smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
4.5 A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for smoking in rooms or anywhere on the property.
4.6 Guests are responsible for the care of room furnishings and facilities. Damages beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the guest's account.
4.7 Face cloths and towels damaged by makeup will be charged to the guest's account.
4.8 Guest using the pool must comply with pool safety guidelines displayed in the pool area.
5. VISITORS
5.1 Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
5.2 Day visitors must be registered with Mitta Glen Guesthouse hosts.
5.3 Day visitors are limited to 2 per guest room.
5.4 Day visitors are not permitted to use the pool or guesthouse facilities.
5.5 Visitors must leave by 6:00 PM.
5.6 Additional guests staying beyond 6:00PM will incur extra charges.
5.7 Guests are responsible for any losses or damages caused by themselves or their guests.
6. CHILDREN AND PETS
6.1 Children of all ages are welcome at Mitta Glen Guesthouse.
6.2 Children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.
6.3 Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the pool without adult supervision.
6.4 Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the fire pit without adult supervision.
6.5 A travel cot for children up to 3 years old is available upon request (fees may apply).
6.6 No pets are allowed at Mitta Glen Guesthouse.
7. FOOD AND BEVERAGE
7.1 Contents of hampers provided or purchased are subject to seasonal variation and availability of products.
7.2 Outside food and beverages are permitted in guest rooms.
7.3 Mini-fridge is available in the communal lounge for guest use.
7.4 Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the common lounge for guest use.
8. INTERNET AND TECHNOLOGY
8.1 Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. Network name and password are provided in your room. Fair usage policy applies (no excessive downloading or streaming).
8.2 Free-to-air TVs are provided in each guest room. Smart TV with streaming capabilities is provided in the communal lounge for use until 8pm each evening.
9. PRIVACY AND SECURITY
9.1 During your stay, Hosts will only enter rooms for cleaning, maintenance, or emergencies.
9.2 "Do Not Disturb" signs will be respected.
9.3 CCTV cameras operate in common areas and entry points for security purposes.
9.4 The property is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
9.5 Lost and found items will be held for 30 days.
10. HEALTH, SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY
10.1 Each guest room has a smoke alarm fitted and tested regularly.
10.2 The guesthouse does not have wheelchair or disabled access facilities. The guesthouse does have ground floor access to rooms and common areas.
11. ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
11.1 Linen change on request for stays longer than 3 nights.
11.2 Energy-efficient lighting and appliances throughout the property.
11.3 The property runs on solar and battery power. During power outages, guests may be requested to turn off appliances to conserve battery power for critical functions.
11.5 Eco-friendly cleaning products are used throughout the property.
11.6 Water conservation measures are in place.
12. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
12.1 Immediate concerns can be addressed to host at any time. We strive to resolve all issues promptly and fairly.
